When it comes to Tile and Grout Cleaning, the most difficult parts to restore are grout lines. The grout is porous containing thousands of microscopic pores. These pores over time become filled with dirt and various contaminants. This is an eyesore and unhealthy, but with the right intervention this can be corrected. The best way to prevent unsightly grout lines is through regular maintenance.

This is where our Multi-Step cleaning process separates us from the competition. First, we will apply and agitate into the tile and grout an alkaline detergent to emulsify acidic contaminants like oil, soils and various food spills. Once an appropriate dwell time has occurred these contaminants are power rinsed and extracted from the surface using a truck-mounted extrctor. The second cleaning step is the application of acidic detergents to rid the grout of any surface efflorescence, construction residue and household cleaner buildup and once again power rinsed and extracted.

There can come a point where cleaning cannot return stained grout to its original appearance. Many factors can cause this type of staining such as contaminate intrusion of unsealed grout.

However, no matter the source of the discoloration, your tile and grout can be restored. The next step for permanently stained grout restoration is grout colorsealing.

Our grout colorseals are water based fluoropolymers mixed with a unique blend of acrylic hardeners and epoxy resins.

Our colorseals have a firm bond on floor and wall grout for sanded grout and work great on all cement based grouts. They also contain epoxy and acrylic compounds suspended in an easy to use water based emulsion and fortified with long lasting color pigments and sealer impregnators, that enable your grout
to be restored to its original color or changed to a different color while offering long lasting sealing properties against staining.
