My husband, Dallas and I own The Clean Living Company, and we would like to share with you how we got started, what we stand for and how we can be of service to you.
Dallas and I both graduated from Lipscomb University here in Nashville. After graduation, Dallas, always entrepreneurial minded, became an owner/operator of a commercial cleaning business. After doing the commercial cleaning for two years he focused on the soft goods side of cleaning. In 2003 Dallas met the owner of a local long standing carpet cleaning company and accepted the opportunity to become a service provider for Drycon and manage a local territory in carpet cleaning. After working with this company for a year, Dallas knew he enjoyed the work and especially the relationships he was building with regular customers, but he had developed his own ideas of operating a business and method of carpet cleaning that lead him to venture out on his own and start his own company, The Clean Living Company, in 2004. We will always be mindful of and grateful to that first company for playing a pivotal point in our journey.
After 5 years of owning and operating The Clean Living Company, we embraced an opportunity to expand the services we could offer our clients. In January of 2009, we purchased a well-established, Nashville business specializing in stone repair and restoration. Marblelife has been a great asset to our existing business and our clients. We are now able to professionally and confidently clean, restore and maintain nearly all your flooring possibilities, from carpet to tile to travertine to marble, slate and more.

As I look back, I am proud of how Dallas has always handled the roller coaster ride with a positive outlook and a certainty of success. I, on the other hand, am always the skeptic. Overall, we balance each other out nicely. Aside from our differences, we do have similarities that form the backbone of our business. That being said, we are obviously not perfect, and we strive to stay away from outrageous marketing claims just to get us in someone’s door. We are not “miracle workers”, but we are definitely WORKERS! We are not going to tell you your carpet will look like new when it won’t.
We are not the least expensive company you can hire. We tried the “price shopping” game and quickly realized that it wasn’t where we wanted to be. There is always someone willing to come in and undersell someone else. We soon came to understand it is better to apologize for our price, than to apologize for your service experience!
That brings me to how we CAN benefit you. Our mission statement is to provide each client with THE ABSOLUTE BEST SERVICE EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE, PERIOD. We are committed to being honest, fair, dependable, thorough and to doing the BEST job that can be done for everyone, every time!
This is a very competitive industry, and we do our part to stay educated and trained on the most current research and information available. Dallas and his employees take multiple continuing education classes each year, and he actively networks with other esteemed colleagues to offer the best to our clients.
